All About Our Cats

cat

Sadly Both Reg and Rosie have now passed away - they'll be sadly missed...............

Reg

I am very very sad to report that Reg has passed away. He "just got old" but he didn't suffer. He will be sadly missed and of course remembered with great affection by us both.

Reg 1986 - 2004, gone but never forgotten

Reg was attacked by a dog when he was only a few weeks old, you can still see the small scar on his nose. He was rescued by a passer-by and taken to the local vets. Luckily a friend of ours worked there, in fact she is the vets wife, anyway she rang bla bla... and we took him in. He still looks like a kitten but he is a fierce hunter of things usually smaller than him, but is a big scaredy when it comes to other cats. He was once beaten up by a cat with three legs! only to be rescued by Rosie. Poor old Reg has had a small problems with his teeth and has had to go to the vets, his nickname is now "gummy" 'cause the old boy has no teeth, only four very small ones at the front, he still hunts but he's not as fierce as he once was!.

Rose

I am very very sad to report that Rosie has passed away. She had a heart attack she didn't suffer.
She will be sadly missed and of course remembered with great affection by us both.

Rosie 1986 - 2002, gone but never forgotten

Talking of Rosie, as you can guess she a lady! well some times. What can I say, well she was the only survivor from a litter born on a farm in Northamtonshire. When she came to us she was just like a little round ball of fur with a mouth at one end and a little tail at the other. Once de-wormed etc. she began to look a bit more like a cat. Except for the runny nose, cat flu! she gave that to Reg as well, great. Rose ain't to sure about small animals and insects but she has caught a few butterflies in her time. One thing she does like though is food! Remember the mouth at one end I mentioned earlier well if it ain't got food in it then it's meowing for it. In fact she is the complete opposite of Reg who hardly say's anything she 'talks' to us all the time, and I mean all the time, if she not asleep of course. That's something they both do with great style and consistency.
